There are four project sites delivering offsets at this time, all associated with well-established and important protected areas.

• Buenaventura, Tapichalaca, Yanacocha and Rio Canandé in Ecuador. The country is biologically mega diverse and WLT has an important programme here;
• Sierra Gorda, in Querétaro, Mexico. This is a new area for World Land Trust, in the Sierra Madre Oriental.

The World Land Trust is actively expanding its portfolio and new projects are being developed all the time.
